Project Overview

Sorrells was appointed to design and craft a fully bespoke installation that would feel at home in this characterful setting. The result is a wine room that pairs solid hardwood ash joinery with a Fired Earth ‘Modernist White’ exterior, creating a gentle contrast between natural grain and painted surface. This balance allows the wine wall to read as a purposeful architectural feature; refined, understated, and entirely in keeping with the tone of the house.

Design Description

This wine room was crafted to serve not only as a dedicated storage space, but as an elegant, functional extension of the client’s open-plan kitchen and dining area. With its location at the heart of the home, the brief called for a solution that would balance formality with warmth, something that could store a serious collection while inviting everyday use and interaction.
